Review of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) by Javis C — 27 Sep 2014
I must admit on the first place that I have never been a huge fan of Westerns, this might be because I had some ignorant eyes but now I see films with new eyes, one guy who was teaching me about films told to watch this one, so I watched it.
My expectations were low, the film is 2 hours and 41 minutes long, I watched completely, never winked nor went to the bathroom, the reason ... it was surprisingly beautiful and espectacular, the takes are esplendid the images have an order and perspective you can appreciate almost everything, but it couldn't worked with a wonderful script, you can learn a lot about scriptwriting in here, now the performances how could you forget them, I want to mention soemthing depsite I enjoyed Clint Eastwood's performance as The Man with No Name or AKA: "Blonde", I liked more Eli Wallach, we will always remember him, as Tuco, his character was unique first he was betrayed by Blonde, so he seeks revenge, he had the chance for killing him but after the revelation of a treasure that only Blonde knows, he prentends to befriend him, during the journey he really appreciates him as a friend until they find the treasure, I will say no more.
.. but his character reminds myself. Finally this Spaguetti Western is exciting, it has turned on my interest on Westerns, and is one of my favourites movie too.
