Review of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) by Vibhhu S — 24 May 2017
I watched this movie fifty one years after its original release partly only because of its "cult" status. Here, Sergio Leone does the impossible- he outdoes himself. Running for nearly three hours, it introduces us to three characters whom we are unlikely to forget in the near future.
Tuco, Angel Eyes and Blondie are all vastly varied in character but are driven by an intense greed for money. Amazing performances by the cast coupled with a legendary score by Ennio Morricone make this a must watch( and of course the ultimate shootout!).
