Arguably the greatest Western of all time, and most definitely the best of the 'Man With No Name' trilogy, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly presents us with nothing but sheer perfection. The characters of Blondie, Tuco and Angel Eyes (played by Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef respectively) are about as memorable as you can get, Leone's signature climactic extreme-close-ups juxtaposed with his beautiful wide-angle Western landscapes are executed magnificently and Ennio Morricone's famous soundtrack fits perfectly and leaves you with chills long after the film has finished (particularly the ending's epic song, 'The Ecstasy Of Gold').
I don't think anyone could truly fault it, absolutely truly a great film.
