I would say easily the greatest western movie of all time. The chemistry and journey between Eastwood and Wallach is nothing short of phenomenal. The story is long, but never boring due to Leone's great direction.
The constant evolving story line that puts the characters in numerous situations is simply brilliant. From beginning to end The Good The Bad and The Ugly is an extraordinary adventure of greed, betrayal, alliance, and numerous other emotions and actions.
Case in point all around perfect acting, story telling, setting, and direction place The Good The Bad and The Ugly in the ranks of some of the greatest films of all time.
