Review of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) by Bobbylikesmovie — 23 Mar 2017
This is one of the greatest films of all time. The action is perfectly shot and everything is beautiful about this film. The score by Ennio Morricone is the greatest score in cinema history. The only problems I have is that there are moments that prolong the movie making it unnecessarily three hours and Clint Eastwood in this movie needed more character development, but that’s it.
And those critiques are only nitpicks. This is a gorgeous and engaging movie experience that must be seen. Now stop reading reviews and go watch it now. But if you have seen the movie and want to see the public opinion, my opinion in that the movie is close to becoming a masterpiece and is one of the greatest American classics of all time while still being the best Western of all time.
If you like cinema, watch it. If you like action, watch it. If you like history, watch it. If you like a well-bodied drama about cowboys, watch it. If you like a good western, watch it.
