Review of The Good Son (1993) by Patrick S — 21 Jul 2009
It's extremely idiotic with Macaulay Culkin so obviously evil that he should be cackling evilly after ever line of dialogue, lighting should strike when he shows up, horses should neigh out of fear in his prescense and he should have a handlebar mustache that he should twirl....EVILLY! Also, the acting is kinda weak and some plot points just are stupid.
But that would ignore how well-made and entertaining this is. All the cool things come from the director and he does milk some tension out of a couple scenes. So it might not be the best but it's not that much of a waste of 90 minutes.
