Review of The Good Shepherd (2006) by Jonathan A — 30 Dec 2008
Nowhere near as good as it could have been, De Niro disappoints a little in this one (as he has been for the last decade sadly). The film itself is interesting but quite long and dull, and as usual the 'good guy' protagonist is in fact a murdering, paranoid, adulterous, boring prick.
Nice to see Joe Pesci pop up though, and John Turturro steals the film.
