A greek tradgedy for modern audiences. Wonderful direction and thematic feel combine with soldi acting from a host of excellent actors.
While it likes a little drive and cohesiveness on occasion, it makes up for it with a powerful sense of scope and emotional undercurrent.
Not your typical spy thriller by a mile; it really is a tragic film. Hats off to DeNiro for taking on the story, and bravo to Matt Damon for handling what must have been a very difficult role to play.
