Review of The Good Shepherd (2006) by Sandy K — 08 Sep 2016
This ambitious look at the creation of the CIA has a blockbuster cast, but falls short of the promised "thriller." Instead it is an over-long, convoluted mystery that leaves far too many questions to make the spy moves and counter-moves intelligible.
With so many leaps back and forth in time in the narrative, it would have helped if the characters showed more visual signs of aging, and not all of the actors were believable when portraying their youngest incarnations.
