Robert De Niro's second & the latest directorial piece. Very decent but really lengthily narrated in snail's pace. It takes almost half of the movie for building up & warming up. In addition to Edward Wilson (Matt Damon)'s self-reserved & serious setting in premise, lack of dramatic ups & downs flattens the tone further.
There is, fortunately, a great supporting cast, including Angelina Jolie & Michael Gambon, helps quite a bit saving the movie from complete monotony.
