Review of The Good Shepherd (2006) by Maria C — 22 Sep 2015

This movie is Robert De Niro's second turn at directing. It's got an interesting plot: basically the beginnings of the CIA and how one man is life affected by it. It's got a good cast. De Niro has captured each time and place in the movie in a good way but at 3 hours it's a bit too long and too slow.

The main character is very stoic which makes it go even slower and the ending is not eventful. However if you like long espionage type films you might want to give this a try.
