Review of The Good Lie (2013) by Michael A — 02 Jun 2015
A movie that doesn't need explosions, CG fakery, and a "protracted message" is rare in Hollywood these days. I thouroghly enjoyd this and was surprised at how fast it went by watching it.
This is neither a feel good movie, or a heart-tugging biopic, but it was refreshing in that the charachters on screen were not a grotesque immitation of the story, but rather real people, with real probems.
I must admit the wittiness of the comic relief had me roling.
