Review of The Good Girl (2002) by Bill H — 18 Oct 2007
It's a film dull schmos like myself can relate to. How so? Trapped in a seemingly non-existant life, both personal and work, left to bitching about how monotonous life is, and contemplating what went wrong or right.
Yes, certainly a wonderful performance by Jennifer Anistion (all signs say her best role yet) and she carries the film all the way in a low-profile role. The story itself is a thought-provoking drama with many hilarity tossed in, more than just the affair description, but uncovering the wonders and excitement of life amidst the boredom and depression.
Although glum later in the film but still having a tiny ray of something-something to ponder. A great dramedy (or dark comedy), the best since Wonder Boys.
