Review of The Good Girl (2002) by Elaine M — 23 Mar 2008
Gloomy, depressing and monotonal...but in a good way? Aniston and especially Gyllenhaal are both excellent as the unfulfilled loners who discover one another, and so commences a complex affair that leads Aniston's character into a spiral of life-changing decisions.
Sounds boring, soppy and dramatic right? Well yeah, it could easily be seen that way, but for its quirks and Deschanel's fantastic character, I can't help but not mind this one...
