Review of The Good Girl (2002) by Laurie W — 06 Mar 2008

I re-watched this last night, and it was nowhere near as good as I remember. None of the performances are that impressive, and the script is average at best. The direction is so pedestrian it's hard to keep your eyes on the screen wihen everythign is shot so dull & predictably.

Having said that, the story is rather intriguing and no-one is bad in it. It's just an average film that take itself WAY too seriously and has ambitions of being much better than it ever will be.
