Book was fantastic, very well written. The acting in this film was really good, but it didn't make up for the lack of class this movie had. I liked the idea of making it into a film set in that era; the black and white, the acting etc, but they had too much swearing and lack of moral class in it to be a classic hollywood oldie.
They should have either aimed for classic, or done a completely modern take on it.
