Review of The Good German (2006) by Nathan L — 07 Jan 2008
A new and bold concept by Soderbergh, a strong visual style and a competent cast bring this tale to life. However the ending did rip off Casablanca too much and Clooney's acting style is too much set in this era so he didn't pull off the effect of a 1940's actor.
But still a good film with a strong performance from Tobey Maguire.
