Review of The Good German (2006) by Hans B — 01 Feb 2008
This film attempts to do something it just doesn't manage. It attempts to be a piece from the time it portraits, but fails on most counts. Even the triplet Blanchett, Clooney and Maguire doesn't manage to save this Soderbergh low point.
One on the plus side is for Thomas Newman's score!
