Review of The Good German (2006) by Greg C — 23 Feb 2008
This movie tried too hard to be in classic style back in about 1950's or so. This movie also stylized noir itself... It failed haunting and noir stylized... The plot was dull, plain and bit of complication in black, white and exaggerated grey.
.. I only gave this credit for two things: Cate Blanchett was fantastic, she knew how to acting in back 1950's like Joan Crawford, Elizabeth Taylor, etc... Another credit, I honored the movie's beautiful visual.
.. That's all... George Clooney was dull and worst disappointment.
