A truly bad movie. Cheesy use of period film as background in many scenes. Sometimes disconnected and irrelevant segments. Hokey dialogue. Ending is derivative and unsatisfying. Film noir style is blunt and, at times, lacks the sharpness and distinctiveness that good flm noir requires.
FN also demands that the black and white contrast be employed as an additional character, that it creates an atmosphere of suspense and of danger. This film fails in this respect. The FN here is merely exploited as a selling point, not as an effective element.
