Review of The Good German (2006) by John A — 11 Jun 2008
I loved the technical feel of the movie. The B&W cinemaphotography, the lighting, and the music were all very much of th period. The blending of archival footage of 1946 Berlin was also cleverly done.
The story was entertaining without really engaging the main characters. Kate Blanchet's role would have been better done by a real German.
