Review of The Good German (2006) by Saman K — 14 Oct 2008
Started off poorly, thanks to Toby Maguire's horrible, wooden performance and a ridiculous continuity error concerning the lighting. That said, the movie improved as it went on, though I'm not convinced that the "retro" style was truly necessary.
Not bad at the end of the day but I was hoping for more. Also, I'm convinced that Toby Maguire is today's Pia Zadora.
