Review of The Good German (2006) by Marcy S — 14 Jan 2009
Very good throwback to noir films. This movie is beautiful visually, as are all of Soderbergh's movies. I found it strange that the movie switches the main subject (character) a few times. I found the story/ending to be a little disappointed as far as the noir genre is concerned.
Although it's somewhat of a doosy, it didn't pack as big of a punch as most films of the genre. At least for me.
