Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Miss Keyser — 02 Mar 2006
Unfortunately, I saw the 1942 remake with sound and narration, so I wasn't able to really appreciate the true beauty of the silent film. Nevertheless, it was still classically hillarious with all those scenes you'd see emulated in more contemporary cinema.
Not to mention some that make you sit up and go, "the hell???" Boiling and eating shoes? Anyway, the guy's a comedic genius and I look forward to seeing more of his stuff.
