Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Vijay L — 05 Aug 2010
Classic Chaplin. All the elements of the tramp character are there, though they don't seem to have been perfected. The story is slightly incoherent, with seemingly unrelated bits joining up to take up the 85 minutes.
That doesn't significantly take away the watchability from the many memorable parts of this movie.
