Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Jeff B — 13 Feb 2011
As always, Mr. Chaplin never fails to entertain in this gem of a movie. As the movie progresses, it gracefully carries on its story of the famous Little Tramp persona through a series of humorous situations, as only Charlie's films can.
The only real flaw I saw with this film is that it tends to lack the staying power that is present with some of his later films. But with all comparison put aside, this films stands the test of time as a refined classic, and a must-see for any movie-lover.
