Review of The Gods Must Be Crazy II (1989) by Shawn M — 14 Apr 2008
I've been hesitant to watch this for years, fearing it would be a mere shadow clone of the original. However, I was surprised to find myself enjoying almost as much. There isn't a hidden message in this film - the director seeming to place more emphasis on the slapstick, pythonesque humour instead.
The story lines are crazy and a little improbable (not to mention the sheer complexity of weaving together this many unrelated storylines).
