Review of The Gods Must Be Crazy II (1989) by Angela F — 11 Oct 2009
It's fun and has some of the same ideas as the first, but lacks the strength of the contrast of cultures that the Coke bottle impetus of the fist film had. The most notable bit of this one is the contrast between what N!xau and his family consider "literacy" versus what western culture considers "literacy.
" The movie is likable and fun, and holds up mainly because N!xau is so endearing and the children are adorable.
