The movies of Gualtiero Jacopetti & Franco Prosperi are often overlooked, but for all you who like to watch COPS, Real TV, and even America's Funniest Home Videos (well, you used to watch them, so shut up), those wouldn't exist without the likes of Mondo Cane and Africa Addio.
Anyway, it's interesting watching these two men discuss what went on during each of the 5 films, and ultimately, what led to their separation. The last two films, Africa Addio, and Addio Zio Tom are extremely misunderstood, and the last 30 minutes are so are basically the two defending their most controversial works.
It helps understand them better, surely. And it's also fun if you liked watching the movies. Otherwise.... I guess.. This won't change your mind?
