Coppola hasn't lost his magical touch on making one of the best sequels in cinema history that set new standards for sequels and prequels in a post-classical cinematic age. Marlon Brando's absence can be compensated by the introduction of Robert De Niro, who delivers along side with Al Pacino, solid performances grinded with Nino Rota's brilliant music score.
