To me this is "the" movie...suspense, characters, drama...the ultimate tale of revenge. There is too much here to explain in one drunken stupor. From Vito Andolini's escape and migration to Michael's evolution and capitulation, this saga is the apex of cinema.
Sober, stoned, drunk..no matter, it has always hit the mark. I don't know what could be done to create a more encapsulating experience. Just watch it, decide for yourself, and thank me later.
