Review of The Godfather (1972) by Spencer J — 30 Jun 2014
Cinema is incomplete without Brando and his husky Italian lines... and the rating of this movie is in conjuction with its sequels. They weave characters so ominus and tangible that they create the gods of cinema.
it's not that you're overcome by how moving the tale is or that the acting is top notch... it's the fact that the story line creeps up on you and all of the sudden you realize what you're watching - a masterpiece of film.
