Review of The Godfather (1972) by Jordan B — 08 Nov 2016
It truly lives up to its persona as being 'one of the best American films ever made'. The Godfather is a great example of a perfect movie, the story and characters come to life with this authentic cast of actors.
This film pretty much represents the 'crime drama' genre and sets a clear example of how a book should be developed onto screen. Marlon Brando and Al Pacino give extraordinary performances as father and son in a dying crime family; I struggle to pick anything out that I dislike about this film, a pure masterpiece.
