Review of The God Who Wasn't There (2005) by Neil K — 01 Jan 2008
After three times watching this sincere but rather dull movie about the jesus story then and now - a historical and sociological critique, I am left wondering whether its a better use of ones faculties to just take the piss rather than present reasoned arguments based on real evidence (or the lack of same). Science and reason can be ignored but snickered at is intolerable.
Good to see a lonely and low-budget tilt at the windmill of religion, even tho it seemed to be cynical as if the narrator is talking to the converted (atheist). My kids got bored within the first 3 minutes. Plenty of good stuff for those of us who are damned and proud.
