Review of The God Who Wasn't There (2005) by Michael T — 13 May 2009
The hypothesis (that Jesus never existed) is bold, but the evidence presented does a better job at showing how improbable it is not that Jesus existed, but that he was divine. There's nothing here that isn't presented more eloquently in recent atheist manifestos like "god is not great" and "The God Delusion.
" Fleming also does himself no favors with shoddy production or by adopting a testy, contentious tone with the Christians he interviews, particularly the head of his old school. It's one thing for a film to have a clear bias, but the way Fleming conducts himself here is pretty unprofessional.
