Review of The God Who Wasn't There (2005) by Private U — 02 Mar 2008
Makes the case that Jesus never existed. A reasonable attempt, could have gone into more detail. The "directors commentary" on the DVD is actually more interesting in terms of depth. instead of a "directors commentary" (ie.
a bunch of people having a circle jerk about how good making the movie was) it's basically a long radio show with extended interviews from the movie, and a discussion about the ideas in the film with Richard Dawkins and a bunch of others.
Yeah, I'd give the directors commentary five stars, thought that the film itself was a bit light trying to demolish god in only an hour. Still good though, probably wasn't aimed at me though.
