Review of The God Who Wasn't There (2005) by Billy W — 09 Jul 2011
This documentary had about 6 minutes of facts and 56 minutes of showing Flemming's deep fear of Christians. The movie is more in the way of Super Size Me or a Michael Moore doc than what I would consider a 'legitimate' documentary (aka one that is fact heavy rather than half truths and misnomers).
I was annoyed about 2 minutes in when the Branch Davidians were referred to as 'crispy followers'. If the director had done any real research he would have known the Waco problem was a statist one and the Davidians did not set themselves on fire.
All in all - D+ for being so heavily opinion based. Instead of watching this documentary, I would advise you to watch 'The Atheism Tapes' which has interviews with biologists, philosophers and other important atheists.
