Review of The God Who Wasn't There (2005) by Faris J — 29 Nov 2005
This is a really good movie. Flemming does to Christianity what Michael Moore did to the government in Farenheit 9/11 by asking provocative and investigative questions that confront and challenge the "facts" about the existence of Jesus Christ or God itself.
And as with the documentary by Michael Moore, Flemmings documentary will continue to and already has gained a cult-like following. Atheists/Agnostics/Scientologists and open-minded educated people alike will be able to look beyond what is commonly and blindly accepted by most Christians and others, as well get a better idea on whether this part of history was a) recorded accurately or b) manipulated and abused by those in power to retain and gain more power.
