Review of The Goat (1921) by David W — 04 Mar 2009
The closest that Keaton came to a perfect film, in my opinion. Usually that distinction goes to "Cops"or "The General", but this is consistently funny in a way that those are not, and there is a wonderful sense of inertia throughout the film that makes it his very best work, and as such, one of the greatest comic films ever made.
