Review of The Goat (1921) by Aj V — 26 May 2010
An absolutely brilliant, riotous non-stop chase picture in which buster is consistently running into cops, being mistaken for criminals, a prickly father, a beautiful daughter and all sorts of bum luck.
featuring a spectacular long shot of a train and as the train approaches the stationary camera, it becomes clear that buster's riding on the cowcatcher, chin in hand, melancholy as ever. the train stops right in front of the camera and the shot cuts.
amazing moment.
