Review of The Glass Castle (2017) by Ryan F — 13 Aug 2017

This movie benefited from a great cast who all gave strong performances and I liked the story, but it was the ending that ruined an otherwise good movie. After going through such effort to show Rex as a horribly abusive man and Rose Mary who appallingly enabled him to the point that they couldn't take care of their kids, to end the movie with such sentimentallity and forgiveness toward Rex & Rose Mary was a complete let down considering what these kids had to go through in life and what it took to get away from him.
