Review of The Glass Castle (2017) by Nowell M — 30 Aug 2017
The Glass Castle captures the horrors of provincial, working-class family lives; the violent, small-minded men who terrorize them; and the delusional, masochistic women who enable the cycle. It's the most emotionally difficult and cathartic film I've seen since August: Osage County and shows what it takes to make peace with the monsters who raised us.
