For me, this was profound. I thought it was well done and realistic. My family wasn't poor, we were middle-class, but we went through plenty of abuse from our brilliant dad, with his own demons. And yet, he loved us very much, as Rex loved his children.
Seeing this movie brought back tons of memories & affected me for days. The actors in this movie, all of them, are superb.
