Review of The Giver (2014) by Syed R — 22 Nov 2014
I thought it was pretty well made, it's better than most YA novel movies that came out recently. Jeff Brides and Streep was great and the kid actors they got was pretty good. I haven't read the book so I'm assuming it gets deeper than the movie, but I thought the movie was just the right with the amount of maturity.
I can totally see this being played in high schools for years to come.
