Review of The Giver (2014) by Sam T — 15 Nov 2018
Its background music made the movie feel like a car commercial. Also, the Giver himself, in this movie doesn't seem like a calm grandfather type of person like he did in the book, in this movie he is written as being kind of rude and it just doesn't click as much.
It was also weird to me how in the book, Jonas became the receiver at age 12, but in this book he looked like he was in his early twenties.
