The ratings were low for this movie and I honestly don't know why. This movie was GREAT! The subtle details and positive memories show great directing as well.
Why do I love it so much? As the giver "shows" Jonas the memories, almost every one is about love, joy, and things that make us unique (as well as the animals). It's hard to find good, clean movies that have a positive and upbeat spin that leave me wanting more. I only wish they'd make a sequel to satisfy what happens after the end.
