Review of The Giver (2014) by Darth V — 21 Nov 2016
So, I had been seeing this selection on Netflix for a few weeks now. Yesterday, after having enough football, I decided to catch this movie. It was actually not bad, which is why I gave it a favorable rating.
This movie hints at a Brave New World, ala Aldous Huxley. Not as bleak as other dystopian movies and similar in story to Equilibrium, without all the graphic violence. It's quite watchable.
