Review of The Giver (2014) by Launchpad2132 — 03 Oct 2014
The Giver is one of the Best books I have read of all time. However the movie failed to compare. Between the fake emotional stakes, the romance that seemed like it was 90% of the plot, and the fact that the best parts of the book weren't even in the movie.
And I'm 14, the age that they wanted this movie to be for, and may I say. It was just crap. The only reason I didn't give it a zero was Jeff Bridges's acting.
