It was fine but not great. The movie was a little superficial in its plot. I wish they had better explained where they came from and who was in the house at the end. The main kid did a good job but some of the writing wasn't the best.
Dana seemed to like it more because she has read the book. Therefore, I assume it is better for those who have read the book.
