One of Soderbergh's more memorable recent films. Just a fantastic exercise on the recession and a great perspective during the lead up of the 2008 Presidential election. One of the most renowned and filthiest porn stars in the business, Sasha Grey, plays the lead role and resonates an exceptional performance as an escort who gains success over her rich and depressed clients.
A study on relationships and how we think we know each other and are forced to pretend we do in order to feel safe and secure relationally and economically. There is so much to say about this film.
One of the best films of the year.
